Description
Insertion magnetic flow meter is a new kind of product based on pipeline flowmeter.
By principle of Nikuradse, it measures the average flow velocity of liquid with electromagnetic methods to get volume flow of liquid, which keeps the advantage of pipeline flowmeter and overcomes the shortage of installation difficulty and high cost. Especially the application of pipeline piercing and installing under pressure technology, insertion magnetic flow meter can be mounted without stopping water supply and it can be also installed on cast-iron pipeline and cement pipe.
The invention of this flowmeter has offered a new way to measure fluid flow. The operating principle is the same as magnetic flow meter. That is Faraday's law of electromagnetic induction
Features
? Insertion magnetic flow meter can be easily mounted without cutoff water supply and pierce pipeline under pressure on site. It has great advantage in installation and price.
? Applicable for measuring flow of liquid like water, sewage, acid, alkali. Etc, whose conductivity is beyond 20cm. The change of conductivity doesn’t affect its function. It can adapt complicated flow change, especially the flow measurement of water supply and drainage pipe.
? The mechanical moving parts of flowmeter, converter adopt optimized design with closed structure, easy installation and interchangeability between converter and sensor.
? Flow measurement is only related with insertion depth. So, this kind of flowmeter can be used in wide range and good interchangeability. One module can meet the needs of various pipeline size. It can connect with any standard secondary instrument.
