自 1999 年引入以来,FlowCam 流式影像系统已成为微生物生态学研究的重要工具,为水生研 究人员提供了一种快速分析浮游生物种群的方法。传统 FlowCam 流式影像系统应用的流通池无 保护设计,在工作人员进行操作过程中,极易造成流通池的损坏;此外传统的流通池安装以及 拆卸十分不便且易造成损坏。新版本的便携式流式影像系统流通池Flow cell以熔融石英为 材质,将液体样品流动空间保护在外部棱镜设计的石英玻璃中,为流式影像系统分析样 品提供了更加快捷,安全的全新方式。
