一、节流阀体沉积物的来源较为复杂,但可归纳为以下几类:
1.油液中的机械杂质或因氧化析出的胶质、沥青、碳渣等污物堆积在节流缝隙处。
2.由于油液老化或受到挤压后产生带电的极化分子,而节流缝隙的金属表面上存在电位差,故极化分子被吸附到缝隙表面,形成牢固的边界吸附层,吸附层厚度一般为5~8微米,因而影响了节流缝隙的大小。以上堆积、吸附物增长到一定厚度时,会被液流冲刷掉,随后又重新附在阀口上。这样周而复始,就形成了流量的脉动。
3.阀口压差较大时,因阀口温度高,液体受挤压的程度增强,金属表面也更易受摩擦作用而形成电位差,因此压差大时容易产生堵塞现象。
4.PCV废气来源:燃烧室内的可燃混合气通过活塞间隙进入曲轴箱后,与机油蒸汽混合后形成的混合气体。为避免稀释和污染机油,混合气会被曲轴箱强制通风系统(PCV)抽入进气道参与二次燃烧。这部分废气进到进气道后,由于温度降低会冷凝形成液相态,其中的"不稳定组分"会在高温下氧化缩合,在节流阀表面形成油垢并附着。
5.涡轮增压压气机深入的润滑油:对涡轮增压发动机而言,普遍采取废气驱动方式,即利用排气道产生的高压废气驱动涡轮,并通过共轴带动进气道内的压气叶片,形成进气道气流增压。但共轴轴承在长期且恶劣的工况下,易产生润滑油的渗透及挥发,再加入充气效率成倍增长,更易形成重质油污加剧节流阀体沉积物的附着。
6.碳罐排出的燃油蒸汽:发动机碳罐吸附的燃油蒸汽中,易形成节流阀沉积物的只要是环戊二烯,在持续的高温下可氧化缩合形成胶状油垢。
二、节流阀的维护与清洗,当节流阀(即蝴蝶阀)被沉积物所阻碍时,节气门开度值产生紊乱,发动机不能稳定、精确的控制其开度,开度值过低造成启动困难、怠速不稳或异常熄火;发动机加减速时,节流阀不能及时响应会导致加速延迟或突然提速。
柔性节流阀的工作原理,依靠阀杆夹紧柔韧的橡胶管而产生节流作用,也可以利用气体压力来代替阀杆压缩胶管。柔性节流阀结构简单,压力降小,动作可靠性高。对污染不敏感,通常工作压力范围为0.3—0.63MPa。
