双足平衡法测痛仪用于对大鼠或小鼠后肢的痛觉和发炎测试评估，克服了其它测试方式可能引起的动物紧张或主观性问题，该技术采用双通道重量平均法，可以同时对一只动物进行控制和测试，可选购大鼠或小鼠两种型号。

双足平衡测试法（Incapacitance Analgesia Meter）可以自动并且是可重复的评估止痛效果。它可测量体重在小动物后肢分配情况,每个肢体对感应器施加的力量，在选定的时间周期内的平均值，可以表现受试对象从一边到另一边的抬起足部，因此可以提供量化的体重在后肢的平衡分配。
